Waymire Farms Tractor Services
Loader Work & Material Handling
You ordered the mulch, the gravel, or the topsoil. Now it's sitting in your driveway in a pile the size of a small car. We move it, spread it, and put it exactly where you need it — without tearing up your lawn in the process.
What we move
The front-end loader and pallet forks on the John Deere 1025R handle a wide range of common residential material handling jobs. If you've had bulk materials delivered and need help distributing them, this is the service for you.
Mulch
Spread bulk mulch deliveries across garden beds, landscaping, and tree rings evenly and quickly.
Gravel & stone
Distribute gravel for driveways, paths, drainage areas, and ground cover applications.
Topsoil & fill dirt
Move and spread topsoil for garden expansion, lawn leveling, and low spot filling.
Compost
Spread bulk compost deliveries across garden plots and landscaping beds before tilling.
Palletized materials
Move bagged goods, pavers, stone, or other palletized deliveries with the pallet forks.
Light site cleanup
Collect and relocate loose material piles, debris, and leftover bulk materials around the property.
"A bulk delivery that would take a weekend with a wheelbarrow takes an hour with the right equipment."
Before & after
How the process works
Loader jobs are usually the most straightforward service we offer — but a little upfront planning makes the difference between a clean result and a day of cleanup.
Equipment specs & honest limitations
The John Deere 1025R loader is well suited to residential-scale material handling. Here's what it can and can't do so you can plan accordingly:
Loader specifications
Bucket capacity
Approximately 5 cubic feet per scoop — best suited for moving materials in multiple passes rather than large single lifts
Lift height
Approximately 6.5 feet to bucket pivot — suitable for loading into truck beds and standard dump trailers, not semi-height dumps
Pallet forks
Handles standard pallets up to approximately 750 lbs on firm, level ground
Ground sensitivity
Subcompact tractor is lighter than full-size equipment — reduced risk of lawn rutting, but soft or wet ground still requires caution
If your job involves very large single lifts, high-reach loading, or ground conditions that would make tractor access risky, we'll let you know before scheduling rather than show up and figure it out at your expense.
Why Waymire Farms
Lighter on your lawn
Our subcompact tractor causes significantly less ground compaction and turf damage than full-size loaders. The right tool for residential work without the collateral damage.
No job too small
Commercial operators often won't bother with a single bulk delivery. We will. A yard of mulch and an afternoon is a perfectly reasonable job for us.
Pallet forks included
We carry pallet forks in addition to the bucket — useful for moving bagged materials, stone pallets, and other delivered goods that don't scoop well.
Local and straightforward
Based in Madison County, serving Madison, Hamilton, and Delaware counties. We quote honestly, show up on time, and don't pad hours.
Is loader work the right call for your project?
Loader work is a great fit when you have bulk materials on site that need to be moved, spread, or staged and the access path is reasonably firm and clear. Jobs that combine loader work with other services — like spreading topsoil and then tilling it in, or spreading gravel and then grading it — can often be handled in a single visit and may save you time and money. Mention it when you reach out and we'll talk through the most efficient approach.
